Most Likely To: The Party Game That Tells You What Your Mates Really Think
Most Likely To is one of the simplest party games going, and one of the funniest. Someone reads out a question like "Who is most likely to fall asleep at the pub?", everyone points at the person they think fits best, and the results are almost always a revelation. No cards, no kit and no rules to learn, just a group of people who know each other well enough to take a bit of gentle ribbing.
Setup
- Players: 4–15. It works best when most of the group knows each other.
- What you need: A drink each (beer, cider, a soft drink or water) and a list of questions. Use ours below or write your own.
- Before you start: Agree how big a penalty sip is, and agree that anything too personal is off limits.
How to Play
- Read a question: The first player reads out a "Who is most likely to..." question.
- Count down: Everyone counts "three, two, one" together.
- Point: On "one", everyone points at the person they think is most likely to do it. You can point at yourself if you are honest enough.
- Take your sips: Each player takes one small sip for every finger pointed at them.
- Pass it on: The player on the left reads the next question.
Questions to Get You Started

- ...end up on a reality TV show?
- ...order a pint and then forget where they put it?
- ...still be on the dancefloor at 3am?
- ...become famous?
- ...start a conversation with a complete stranger in the queue?

Variations
- Secret ballot: Everyone writes their vote on a scrap of paper and drops it in a cup so nobody knows who voted for whom. Only the "winner" sips.
- Defend yourself: The person with the most votes gets ten seconds to argue their case. If the group isn't convinced, they take one extra sip.
- Tie-break: If two players get the same number of votes, they go head to head at rock, paper, scissors. The loser sips.
- Theme rounds: Stick to one theme for a round: holidays, work, school days or nights out.
Tips for a Good Game
- Keep the questions playful rather than cruel. The aim is a laugh, not a falling out.
- Mix in a few flattering questions ("most likely to become a millionaire") so nobody spends the whole night on the receiving end.
- If a newcomer is playing, keep the in-jokes to a minimum so they can join in.
Drink Responsibly
Project Beer is all for a good laugh, not for getting anyone ill. Keep the measures small, agree that anyone can play with a soft drink or water at any time, eat something first, and never pressure someone to drink. Know your limits, look after your mates, and never drink and drive. If you are under the legal drinking age, play with soft drinks only.
