The Buttery Nipple is a sweet, creamy layered shot of butterscotch schnapps topped with Irish cream. Dessert in a shot glass.

Ingredients

  • 15ml butterscotch schnapps
  • 15ml Irish cream liqueur

Method

  1. Base: Pour the butterscotch schnapps into a shot glass.
  2. Layer: Slowly pour the Irish cream over the back of a spoon so it floats on top.
  3. Serve: Serve straight away.

Tips for the Perfect Buttery Nipple

  • Chill both liqueurs for a cleaner layer.
  • Some versions add a small splash of vodka for extra kick.
  • Pour slowly to get the layers right.
