The Green Tea Shot contains no tea at all: Irish whiskey, peach schnapps and sour mix, topped with a splash of lemonade. Sweet, sour and easy.

The Green Tea Shot contains no tea at all: Irish whiskey, peach schnapps and sour mix, topped with a splash of lemonade. Sweet, sour and easy.

Ingredients

  • 15ml Irish whiskey
  • 15ml peach schnapps
  • 15ml sour mix (or fresh lemon juice with a little sugar syrup)
  • Splash of lemonade or soda

Method

  1. Shake: Add the whiskey, schnapps and sour mix to a shaker with ice.
  2. Strain: Shake briefly and strain into two shot glasses.
  3. Top: Finish each with a splash of lemonade.

Tips for the Perfect Green Tea Shot

  • It gets its name from its pale greenish colour.
  • Make a larger batch in the shaker for a group.
  • Serve it long over ice for a Green Tea cocktail.

Variations

Swap the whiskey for vodka for a White Tea Shot.
