Mind Eraser

The Mind Eraser is a layered drink of coffee liqueur, vodka and soda, drunk in one go through a straw. A lively party favourite.

Ingredients

• 30ml coffee liqueur
• 30ml vodka
• 30ml soda water
• Ice

Method

1. Base: Fill a rocks glass with ice and pour in the coffee liqueur.
2. Layer: Slowly pour the vodka over the back of a spoon, then top with soda.
3. Drink: Pop a straw in and drink it all in one go from the bottom.

Tips for the Perfect Mind Eraser

• It is bigger than a usual shot, so share or pace yourself.
• Pour gently to keep the three layers.
• Swap the soda for tonic for a sharper finish.

It is essentially a fizzy Black Russian, served layered.
