Inspired by the classic Jägerbomb, this unique shot takes things up a notch by adding a 'pin pull' element with a second spirit. It's designed for maximum impact and a guaranteed cheer from the crowd. Get ready for a fizzy, boozy blast!

Ingredients

  • 150ml Red Bull (or other energy drink)

  • 25ml Jägermeister

  • 25ml Tequila (Blanco or Gold, drinker's preference) OR 25ml Sambuca (White or Black, drinker's preference)

Instructions

The Setup

  1. Prepare the Base: Pour 150ml of chilled Red Bull into a wide-mouthed glass. A tumbler or a small pint glass works well, ensuring there's enough surface area to balance the shots.

  2. Fill the Shots: Pour 25ml of Jägermeister into one standard shot glass. Pour 25ml of your chosen spirit (Tequila or Sambuca) into a second standard shot glass.

  3. Balance the Shots: Carefully place the Jägermeister shot glass on the rim of the wide glass, ensuring it's stable and partially submerged in the Red Bull, but not tipping over.

  4. Position the 'Pin': Now, carefully place the Tequila or Sambuca shot glass on top of the Jägermeister shot glass. This top shot is your 'grenade pin'. Ensure both shots are securely balanced.

The Execution

  1. The Countdown: Present the Grenade Shot to the birthday person or designated drinker. Explain the process clearly.

  2. Pull the Pin: The drinker should grasp the top shot (Tequila/Sambuca) and, like pulling a grenade pin, quickly remove it and drink the contents in one go.

  3. The Explosion: Immediately after drinking the 'pin' shot, the Jägermeister shot will drop into the Red Bull, creating a fizzy Jägerbomb. The drinker should then quickly pick up the wide glass and drink the entire Jägerbomb mixture.
