Vodka Jelly Shots

Vodka Jelly Shots are a party classic: fruit jelly made with a splash of vodka and set in little cups. Easy to make the day before.

Ingredients

• 1 x 135g packet of fruit jelly cubes
• 200ml boiling water
• 150ml cold water
• 150ml vodka
• About 20 small plastic shot cups

Method

1. Dissolve: Melt the jelly cubes in the boiling water, stirring until smooth.
2. Cool: Stir in the cold water, leave to cool for 10 minutes, then stir in the vodka.
3. Set: Pour into shot cups and chill for at least 4 hours, or overnight.

Tips for the Perfect Vodka Jelly Shots

• Don't add the vodka while the jelly is very hot, or some of the alcohol will evaporate.
• Keep the total liquid close to the packet instructions or the jelly won't set.
• Label them clearly and keep them away from children.

Variations

Try lime jelly with tequila, or raspberry jelly with gin.
