The Washington Apple Shot mixes Canadian whisky, sour apple schnapps and cranberry juice. Sweet, tart and fruity, it is a popular crowd pleaser.

Ingredients

  • 15ml Canadian whisky
  • 15ml sour apple schnapps
  • 15ml cranberry juice
  • Ice

Method

  1. Shake: Add everything to a shaker with ice.
  2. Chill: Shake for 10 seconds.
  3. Strain: Strain into two shot glasses.

Tips for the Perfect Washington Apple Shot

  • It is named after Washington State, famous for growing apples.
  • Any light whisky works if you can't find Canadian.
  • Serve it long as a cocktail with a splash of soda.
